Uhde decisions Gonzalez for super middle weight title

Jesse Uhde of Kalispell won by unanimous decision over Daniel Gonzalez of Billings on Saturday night at the Flathead County Fairgrounds.

Uhde, 37, won the eight-round main event for Montana’s super middle weight title. Uhde improves to 6-4 as a professional boxer. Gonzalez is 10-35.

Uhde won a close decision over Gonzalez last October in a six-round bout.

Also Saturday, Brandon Scholz decisioned Ray Writing; Eric Hempstead won by TKO over Michael Shockley in the third round; Timothy Dick decisioned Joe Holmstrom; Karli Volkmann decisioned Addy Denna; Anthony Sullivan won by unanimous decision over Andrew Howk in a four-round professional bout; and Michael Kuehne won a 32-second tapout over Kevin Tjaden in a professional mixed martial arts bout.
