Bigfork blows by Mission

ST. IGNATIUS — The Bigfork boys jumped out to a huge first-quarter lead and built on it in the second half to cruise past St. Ignatius in a 72-48 nonconference basketball win on Tuesday.

Isaac Martel scored 20 points to lead the Vikings (15-1), who remain perfect against Class B competition. Jonathan Landon had 13 points and Tyler Piazzola and Adam Jordt each had 10.

Aaron Fischer-Ahenakew led the Bulldogs (5-10) with 14 points. Dennis Fischer-Ahenakew scored 12 points and Nick Durglo scored 10 for St. Ignatius.

BIGFORK — Miranda Campbell tallied 12 points and Mattison McAnally and Katie Thomas had 10 each as Bigfork whipped St. Ignatius (0-15) in a Class B nonconference game.

Bigfork (12-4) took command with a 22-point second quarter for a 35-15 lead at the half.

Katie Thomas led Bigfork in assists with five. Campbell also had a team-best seven rebounds.
