A vote for laws that promote modesty

Soooo, yoga pants. Stretchy, tight pants for women. Some of them are basically what we used to call tights. What woman in the past would have wanted to walk around wearing tights? I guess the skinny ones might be OK with them. Certainly not one with my figure.

But for those of us who understand old-fashioned/Judeo-Christian values, the senator trying to make yoga pants illegal is not silly, ridiculous, crazy, or trivial. Promiscuity and indecency in attire can lead to problems in our society that are very serious: unintended and unwanted pregnancies, adultery (ooooh, an old-fashioned word!), divorce, families breaking up, sexual abuse, abortion.

Each one of these situations is very sad and causes long-term damage to too many people in our world today.

Many people do not want to hear about the Bible in the newspaper. But the Bible (New Testament) is the very greatest instruction manual ever written for human beings living in this world.
