Bengals bounce Braves

HELENA — Flathead never recovered from a slow start, falling to Helena High 54-32 on Friday night in a boys Western AA basketball contest.
Helena High held a 14-9 edge after eight minutes of play and led 22-19 at the half.
The Bengals (9-8 overall, 5-4 league) outscored Flathead 32-17 to pull away in the second half.
Ragen Shein led Helena High, and all scorers, with 19 points. AJ Kanthack scored 11 for the Bengals.
Matt Marshall topped the Braves (4-13, 1-8) in scoring with 11 points.
The victory gave Helena the season sweep. The Bengals won at Flathead 54-53 on Feb. 6.
Flathead plays at Helena Capital today while Helena High hosts Glacier. Both games begin at 2:30 p.m.
