Cursing and screaming: Don't do it!

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received reports that a resident in an apartment on U.S. 35 is frequently screaming “profanities and yelling hate speech.” The resident was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

A maroon truck with a snowplow on the front was going too fast on Farm to Market Road in the school zone, according to a report. Officers were unable to locate it.

A caller thought that four to five horses in a pasture on Two Mile Drive appeared to be malnourished. Responding officers found the bale feeder full of hay, and deemed the horses healthy.

A husky mixed dog was found on the side of Tamarack Lane near the golf course. It had a collar but no tags, and was taken to an animal hospital in Columbia Falls, and later to Flathead County Animal Shelter.

A woman on Wendy Way in Kalispell reported that she felt she had been exposed to “long-term poisoning,” and feared for her life. She thought the poison might be lead or other chemicals. Two other people were on the property, and she believed they might be involved in illegal drug trade, and they would not let her leave. Later in the conversation, the woman stated she had several undiagnosed mental issues, and decided to seek help for those instead.

A male wearing a green stocking cap and driving a white, older Subaru took mail out of the caller’s mailbox on La Brant Road, and drove off. The caller spoke to the post office, and requested extra patrol in the area.

An Xbox 360 was reported stolen from a home on Van Sant Road in Kalispell while the owner was out of town last week. The owner believed he knew who stole it, based on a comment the possible suspect made last month.

A caller reported that he believes a mother is “starving her child to death” because her 5-month-old child is still at his birth weight. The caller reported that the child did not have the strength to swallow, and is very limp. The incident was reported to Child Protective Services.

A female was reportedly breaking doors and property at a home on Trails End Drive. The caller reporting the incident owned the home, and said the woman broke a phone, threw beer bottles and had thrown a microwave out the back door. No weapons were involved, and responding officers arrested the woman.

A yellow car was reported blocking Skyles Place to the Whitefish Police Department, and construction trucks could not get through. Officers made contact with the owner, who moved the car.

A woman called the Kalispell Police Department to report that her neighbor on Sixth Avenue East kept driving back and forth in front of her throwing gravel onto her and her friend’s vehicle. Officers counseled both parties.

A caller reported that vehicles were not stopping completely at the intersection of First Avenue West and First Street West, and is concerned because several elderly people walk in the area.

A woman said she had to “grab her son and move him out of the way before he was run over” by an erratic driver on Sunnyview Lane. She said the driver was a bald male, driving a blue Ford Focus with handicap plates.

A woman on 11th Street West found footprints leading from the alley to her bedroom window, and knew they weren’t there the day before. She worried, because she was alone at the residence with her small children.

A van on Appleway Drive was purposefully “packed full of snow” and keyed along the passenger side.

A caller said a female spent the night with him at his house on Airport Road, and when he woke in the morning, the female was gone, and so were several of his possessions.
