Wrestling: Polson pins Frenchtown

POLSON — Cameron Brown (113), Thunder Morales (126), Tele Seemann (170) and Mike Corrigan (205) won by pin for the Polson Pirates who captured a 39-29 Northwest A home dual victory over Frenchtown on Friday night.

The Pirates took 7 of the 12 matches, including two forfeits and a 9-3 decision won by Skyler Knuston (138) over Broncs’ Bryce Williams.

Preston Downard (152) and Tyler King (160) earned falls for the Broncs. Caleb Bagnell (103) won by technical fall, 15-0, over Mateo Quinones.

At 132, Tyler Ishler grinded out a 6-0 decision for Frencthown over Jaben Wenzel. Jon Blanchard (145) also won by decision for the Broncs.

Frenchtown will square off against Libby today at 4 p.m. while Polson hosts Columbia Falls on Thursday at 6 p.m.
