Ex-employee won't get job back this way

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at a U.S. 2 East business in Kalispell on Monday when employees arrived to find dog doo-doo on their doorstep. The owner said he has a suspect, an ex-employee, who was recorded on video throwing the feces at the business door and that it was the second time this week it’s happened. 

Someone dropped a pregnant cat off in a neighborhood near North Somers Road. 

Three cars were seen in the ditch off of Lake Blaine Road. The caller blamed the snowplow driver for “plowing the road too wide,” saying drivers couldn’t tell where the edge of the road was. 

A set of skis was stolen Monday morning from Big Mountain Road in Whitefish. 

A Kalispell man reported that his grandson stole his debit card and cleaned out his account. 

Someone called regarding a facility that keeps exotic animals near Columbia Falls, saying it was almost causing car accidents Monday morning when people would pull over to watch the animals. 

A man’s motorcycle was stolen out of a locked location Monday afternoon. He was also missing a small dirt bike. 

A woman calling from Spruce Meadows Loop in Kalispell reported seeing a commercial helicopter land near a subdivision. She said the chopper, which was a two-seater, had no police insignia or lights. The woman also said that her husband is a helicopter pilot and “you cannot land a helicopter wherever you want.” 

A naughty neighbor on Shady Lane wrote profanity on the side of someone else’s vehicle Monday. 

A man wearing camouflage pants, army boots, a jacket and a knit hat pulled a six-inch knife on a man who was simply working at his job at a car dealership Monday afternoon. The armed man didn’t say a word, instead just kept showing the man the knife. 

A 12-foot aluminum ladder was stolen from Grandale Avenue in Kalispell. 


 

A woman called Columbia Falls Police after waking up Tuesday afternoon and noticing that one of the tires was missing from her car. 

A report of a suspicious male came in from Ninth Street West around 6 p.m. Monday. The man was walking around a car in the parking lot and tried to open a couple of the doors. He turned out to be part of a larger group of people who didn’t speak English but were reportedly trying to sell a car. 

An apartment manager on Seventh Street West called saying she’s received multiple reports of one of the apartments reeking like marijuana. 


 

A woman called Kalispell Police because she was receiving phone calls that when she answered, the caller hung up. 

A man on Third Avenue East said that employees with a rental company tried to walk right into his house without permission. 

A woman was caught shoplifting from a U.S. 93 South grocery store. 

Two horses were spotted walking down the road, apparently headed to town. No word on what they needed in Kalispell. 

A security guard at a local hospital turned in some confiscated marijuana early Tuesday. 

A woman was seen panhandling on U.S. 93 North on Tuesday afternoon. Police were called because she was in the parking lot of a nearby business holding a sign and asking for money.
