Wrestling: Eureka wins dual with Greenchain

EUREKA — Eureka totaled three pins and a major decision to top Lincoln County rivals Libby on the mats on Tuesday, 34-28.

The Lions got pins from Kahden Bakkila at 120 in 1:14, Garrett White at 132 in 1:51 and James Dunn at 138, pairing with a forfeit win from Zach Durden at 126 to earn the maximum 24 points in four straight matches.

Josh Schmidt earned a major decision at 145 and Sam Johnson won by forfeit t 205 to give Eureka enough of a cushion to weather a strong run by Libby at the upper weights.

Dylan Parish (152), Zach Crace (160) and Garrett Chapel (182) all earned pins in two minutes or less to add to a major decision from Michael Miller at 170. Mason Sams won by forfeit at 108 for the Greenchain.
