A Marion man called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday afternoon saying he had met a woman and spent the night with her but had since decided that the woman and her friend are “crazy” and he wants nothing to do with them. The man also requested that a deputy come and pick up personal property the woman left behind — one of her hair extensions — and return it to her.

A woman reported that her neighbor on Rocky Meadows Loop in Kalispell has put up an electrical grid in his yard that “puts out electrical waves in large amounts in the form of radiation.” She added that it is affecting her and her husband’s health and her dog’s ears.

A Kalispell man called to say that his neighbor is using his snow blower and blowing the snow onto his property — an ongoing problem since last winter.

A string of mailboxes were damaged on Farm to Market Road in Whitefish on Thursday. All of the mail that had been delivered was rummaged through, packages had been opened and a lot of the mail was left on the side of the road.

A Columbia Falls business reported that it was vandalized sometime Wednesday night.

A Kalispell man reported that his gun was stolen from a U.S. 2 East location.

A man from Kila fell victim to Internet fraud.

A needle was found at a U.S. 2 East business and turned in to police.

An injured elk that had possibly been struck by a vehicle was put down on U.S. 2 West on Thursday night.

Someone has been siphoning gas from a South Cedar Drive business in Kalispell for several weeks.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on assault charges on North Crow Road on Thursday.

An arrest on possession of drug paraphernalia charges was also made Thursday.

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a call that a dog on Fourth Avenue East North had been barking continually and does not have proper shelter outside. Responding officers found the dog did have shelter.

A store on Third Avenue East North reported a shoplifter who took a “cart full of stuff.” Employees estimated she stole around $200 worth of merchandise. The woman escaped in a teal truck.

A small black-and-white puppy was found on Carniegie Drive, without a collar or tags.

A woman reported that her husband was “ramming his vehicle into her vehicle” on Eighth Street West. The woman also had her baby in her vehicle. Responding officers counseled both parties in the dispute.
