Doris Mae Lochridge, 90  

Doris was born in Creston on Feb. 17, 1924, to Curtis and Verna Shoemaker.

She passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2015.

Doris was one of 11 children. She was married to Bennie Lochridge until his passing in 1990. She is survived by her three children, Ralph and Kathy, Mary Helen and Jack, and Joyce and Bill. She was grandmother to seven and great-grandmother to nine children.

Doris worked as an office manager for many years then retired from Frank Toby Jones as a beautician. She enjoyed visiting family and friends. She was a great cook and had a love for gardening. Playing cards with friends was a delight.
