Peeping Tom spotted by mom

A scared mother spotted a Peeping Tom looking in her daughter’s window on Liberty Street. The mother told Kalispell Police Department she wasn’t sure if the peeping Tom was male or female or whether they were still there. Officers checked the area. No footprints were discovered in the snow.

A woman called from Third Avenue West stating that she thought someone came into her house and stole some folders that were missing and also took an energy drink off the counter. The woman later found her documents under her couch.

Two males and one female in their 20s and 30s described as “a group of drug-dealing punk people” were seen by hanging out in a parking lot by a man on Liberty Street who said he would not be surprised if they had weapons.

 A man was arrested for shoplifting and felony possession of drugs after being chased down South Main Street.

A concerned citizen reported what appeared to be a very intoxicated, and possibly injured, man who fell over, hit his head, got back up and sat on the side of the street on Fourth Street West and Second Avenue West.

A man reportedly bought a case of beer for minors on Third Avenue East North.

A persistent patron at a bar on U.S. 2 West insisted the bartender had his debit card and wouldn’t give it back, saying they didn’t have it.

Someone who lived out of town called to report a snowmobile was stolen off a truck parked by their husband at a store on U.S. 93 South. Officers called the husband who said he went into the store to get a sandwich and by the time he came out it was gone. Officers believed the husband sounded as if he had been drinking.

Someone wanted to speak with animal control regarding Kalispell getting a dog park.

 

Whitefish Police Department responded to a report on Wisconsin Avenue of a trail of blood leading to a small, bleeding deer that appeared to have been hit. Officers said the deer is injured but is able to get up and move around.

Teenagers were seen getting out of their vehicles to harass and chase three deer and a buck on Columbia Avenue.

 

Someone called Columbia Falls Police Department to report a goat wearing a dark collar was running around South Veteran Drive.

A woman on Seventh Street West said she smelled marijuana coming from a nearby apartment and was instructed to contact her property manager.
