GREAT FALLS — Ryan Porch of Kalispell shot a 3-under par score on Thursday at the Montana State Men’s Amateur Golf Tournament at Meadow Lark Country Club.
His opening-round 69 ties him for second place along with three other golfers.
Tom Swanson of Missoula shot a 65 to top the leader board.

Shawn Tucker of Whitefish had an even-par round 72.
Logan Lindholm of Kalispell shot 73.
