Badger badgers men with badges
Officers with the Kalispell Police Department captured a stalwart badger that took refuge in a Summit Ridge Drive garage. The badger was released into the wild “and counseled on his actions,” according to the report.
A man reportedly walked into a U.S. 2 church and started berating people inside. The man was escorted out before the pastor called the police.
Police pursued a fleeing vehicle through the center of town, including Center Street and Fifth Avenue West. The driver was taken into custody after a foot pursuit on the south end of Meridian.
A woman was arrested for allegedly waving a gun at people and hitting another woman with it near Eighth Avenue West.
Some kids reportedly damaged some putting greens off of North Main Street.
A man in a checkered shirt was asked to move along after multiple reports that he was hanging around a Third Avenue East North business.
A raccoon that bit a dog and its owner on U.S. 93 is still at large.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person in connection with a Shady Lane vehicle vandalism report. The car was a target for rock-throwing and tire-slashing.
A Montana 35 resident dialed 911 to report a noisy construction crew. She called back a couple times, the last of which was to cancel the law enforcement response.
A strange man flagged down a motorist on Fern Lane. It was an older man who spoke about losing his family and “being on stem cell research,” according to the witness. Extra patrols were requested.
A Breezy Point Avenue pet owner thought that somebody might have stolen his dog out of the yard. He told authorities that it looks ragged due to a health condition and could be misconstrued as homeless.
Two men were fighting near a Montana 35 business. They both left by the time law enforcement arrived.
