Sometimes you need a drink that bad

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a theft call on East Idaho Street. The report was of a woman who stole a beer and proceeded to drink it right outside of the business. The woman received a citation.

“Bagel” the beagle was reported to be running loose near East Nicklaus Avenue, according to reports and an identification tag. An officer located and advised the owner.

Two men who had been drinking “extremely” got into a fight, according to a report. One of the men called police during the incident and reported that he was being beat up. Further investigation revealed that they had broken into a camper to drink without permission of the owner.

A car was reportedly seen in an East Idaho Street drive-through with small children who were unrestrained and sitting on adults’ laps. The caller was concerned about the kids’ safety.


 

A Creekwood Drive resident had enough with a barking dog close to home and wanted to show the Whitefish Police Department what the problem was. When reached by an officer, the reporting party just “pointed in a general direction.” A while later, that same person called again to report the barking dog. This time, an officer located the pup and issued a citation to the owner.


 

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on Montana 35 after a driver refused to be tested for suspected DUI.

During a probation check on 13th Avenue West, deputies arrested a person for possession of dangerous drugs.


 

A caller reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that a man walking near Island Drive looked suspicious because he was wearing camouflage and carrying a chain. A deputy met with a man matching that description who said he was just looking for a dog.

A driver reported being “chased” by a woman in another car. He told dispatch that she started following after he passed her. He pulled over, at which point the woman reportedly threatened to beat him up.

Deputies were unable to locate a van containing an odd couple. An employee of a U.S. 2 business reported that a male was “jumping around all over the van” while a female was drinking. Then they got in the van and drove away.
