Joyce C. Eckelberry Kloock, 86, passed away March 10, 2015 surrounded by her family “to be with her Lord” and once again dance with her husband Erwin.

She was born on September 3, 1928 in Kalispell to James and Pearl Eckelberry. She will be greatly missed by her family and all the friends that have touched her life and she theirs.

She was raised in the Flathead and lived there throughout her wonderful life. They lived in Somers, on Lake Blaine, the Badrock area and finally their place on Flathead Lake. After Erwin passed away, she purchased her own townhouse in Kalispell to be closer to her son.

Joyce worked for many years at Helphrey Motor Freight, at Dr. Wildgen and Gould and finally retired from Flathead Electric. She was very proud of her work ethic but never did embrace the computer age in the workplace.

During their life together, they raised and showed Arabian horses. They brought their grand children into showing horses. They showed numerous championship horses and earned many awards during that time. During their life together they enjoyed traveling, taking many cruises and train trips around the world and around United States.

Joyce and Erwin were a lifetime members of the Lutheran faith. They were regulars on Sunday services. After Erwin passed away she continued in her faith. She was a member of Faith Free Lutheran Church in Kalispell. She attended as her health allowed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Erwin; her parents James and Pearl Eckelberry; her in-laws Walter and Paula Kloock and sister Norma Johnson.
