JoAn Camille Marquardt, 67

After a short battle with cancer, JoAn Camille Marquardt, of Ferndale, died on March 12, 2015, in Fallbrook, California, at the age of 67. 

She leaves behind three sons, Moquey, Steven and Richard.

JoAn was born on June 29, 1947, in Troy, New York, to Dean and Lorraine (Buckmaster) Marquardt, who predeceased her. 

JoAn was a pilot and, according to her friends, will always be remembered as “the gutsy aviatrix of Montana.”

She is survived by her three children; as well as her sisters, Kathleen, Candace, Dawn and Cindy, and her brother, Sherman; her grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

JoAn has requested to be cremated and no services have been scheduled at this time.
