Iven 'Butch' Cranmer, 73

“Heaven has received another angel.” Butch passed away on March 18, 2015.

He was born in Deer Lodge on Feb. 20, 1942 to Porter Cranmer and Martha Mero.

He moved to the Flathead in 1977 and spent his life working as a contracted painter.

Butch was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sisters, Maxine Nelson and Gladys Cranmer.

He is survived by his children, Teri Lee Cranmer-Trainor, Lil’ Butch Jr. Cranmer, Ronnie Cranmer, Tom Cranmer, Kris Moore, Crystal Cranmer and Richard Cranmer; one sister, Sherry Caverly; one brother, Jim Cranmer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends and family. Butch also leaves behind his best four-legged friend, Cookie.

He was a loving dad, grandpa, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Elks Lodge in Kalispell. Food will be provided.
