Glacier's Bennett to coach Badlands Bowl

Coaches and players from the Class AA state champion Glacier High School football team dominate the Montana roster for the annual Knights of Columbus Montana-North Dakota Badlands Bowl.

The all-star game will be played June 20 in Miles City.

Glacier’s Grady Bennett will serve as the head coach for the Montana squad.

Two of his assistant coaches will be Glacier’s Shannon Smith and Chad Ross of Whitefish.

Bennett led Glacier to a perfect season and its first state championship last fall.

Glacier will have eight players competing — quarterback Brady McChesney, wide receiver Logan Jones, offensive lineman Harrison Kauffman, defensive end Andrew Harris, defensive lineman Colin Bingham, linebacker Josh Hill, safety Tucker Rauthe and cornerback Cain Boschee.

Also selected for the Montana roster is safety Josh Sandry of Bigfork.

Glacier lineman Hunter Kauffman is an alternate.
