A road-rage incident was reported on Holt Stage Road. A driver reportedly punched out the window of another vehicle while somebody sat inside. A local homeowner who apparently witnessed the incident called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. Both vehicles took off toward Kalispell.

An animal dispute turned ugly when an Ashley Hills Drive resident pepper-sprayed someone’s dog. The sprayer told dispatch that she was walking her dog when the neighbor’s dog attacked. The victims were “really mad” about that, according to the report.

An Arbour Drive East resident claimed FedEx said that her package was delivered, but she didn’t receive it. The resident called the sheriff’s office to report a suspected package theft.

Deputies arrested two men in connection with a suspected theft from a U.S. 2 East business. According to an employee, one man took some items and then took off on a bicycle. Both of the suspects had warrants.

Dispatch received a report of a teenager who ran through a field near U.S. 2 West. The runner kept looking over his shoulder and even squatted for a second, according to the caller. Your guess is as good as ours on this one.

Emergency dispatch picked up a call only to hear someone utter an expletive and hang up. On a callback, the man was apologetic about the apparent “butt-dial.”

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested someone for disorderly conduct on Canyon View Drive. An arrest was also made for criminal contempt at a suspected burglary at Vanness Lane.

Evergreen Fire Rescue was called out to White Birch Lane to help a child who climbed too high into a tree. As tree-climbers know, it’s more difficult on the way down. The kid was about 35 feet up and had been there for a couple of hours. Crew members were able to get the child down safely.
