Gurdon Ernest 'Whitey' White, 73

Gurdon Ernest "Whitey" White, 73, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Casper. 

A graveside service was held on March 27 in the Dawson County Cemetery in Glendive with the Rev. Avis Anderson officiating. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Gurdon was born on April 15, 1941, in Kalispell, a son of Thain and Luella (Adams) White. 

He was united in marriage to Claudine Geiger, and to this union three sons were born, Michael, Brent and Kent. This marriage later ended in divorce.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thain (Fay) White and mother, Luella (Vincent) Roller.

He is survived by his two sisters, Margaret and William King of South San Francisco, and Ruth E. White of Dayton, Montana; three sons, Michael and Cora White, Brent and Cami White, and Kent and Andrea White, all of Glendive; eight grandchildren, Paige, Hope, Thain, Drew, Kyle, Lindsey, Tyler and Katy; one great-grandson, Ryder; one niece, Allison King; and one nephew, William King.
