Polson netters defeat Stevensville, C-Falls in dual action
POLSON — Polson’s boys and girls topped Stevensville and Columbia Falls in dual tennis action on Saturday.
The outing with Columbia Falls with a Northwestern A contest.
Columbia Falls split with Stevensville.
“A real good day,” Polson coach Bob Hislop said.
“We’re starting to round into form for divisionals.
“The girls were dominant, especially at 1 and 2 doubles,” he said of Taylor Rost and Shawna Lenz and Kyler Lundeen and Natalee Wheeler, respectively.
“Marlee Congdon had an excellent day (at No. 1 singles). Tommy Mercer and Cadis Chowning had two nice wins at doubles.”
For the Columbia Falls boys, Julian Street picked up his victory in singles play.
Quinn Ingraham and Garret Caffery were also first-time winners for Columbia Falls this spring at the No. 3 doubles spot.
