Underage bar patrons cause a scene

A 20-year-old woman snuck into a bar on Central Avenue, prompting a call to the Whitefish Police Department when her presence caused a fight. A 20-year-old man allegedly hit a bar-goer in the side of the head in a dispute involving the girl.

A Creekwood Drive resident called authorities to report a constantly barking dog at his neighbor’s house. He said it was an ongoing problem.

A Colorado Avenue woman phoned the police to report her son was saying bad things about her on social media. She said she had lost control of her son and wasn’t sure what to do.

Some strange lights on Whitefish City Beach were called in. An officer discovered some “budding photographers” were using flashlights to attempt to take some cool photos. They were informed the beach was closed for the evening.


A Crescent Drive resident called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report his neighbor was putting stakes in his yard and flipping him off. The neighbor reportedly had a few choice curse words for him as well.


The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Hilltop Road at 2:55 p.m.


The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a drunken driver on U.S. 93 at 1:25 a.m.


The Polson Police Department arrested a driver with a suspended license on 19th Avenue at 1:26 a.m.

A person was arrested near Mission Bay for possession of drug paraphernalia.
