C-Falls netters split with Libby

COLUMBIA FALLS — Seniors Hailey Sapa and Kaylee Flanigan went out in style by posting wins in their final prep home tennis match for Columbia Falls on Thursday in a dual with Libby.

Sapa, at No. 2 singles, won 6-3, 6-4 and Flanigan and her doubles partner Samantha Gilk won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2.

Columbia Falls wraps up regular-season action with a dual on Saturday at Hamilton.

It was all Libby as the Loggers won every match in two sets.

“Libby looked very strong,” Columbia Falls coach Gary Yee said.

“They are ready for divisionals.”

Yee said his Wildcats “have shown some great improvement” as the season has progressed.

Columbia Falls ends the regular season on Saturday at Hamilton with a dual.
