Flathead sends 4 singles players to divisional semis

For Flathead’s singles players, it was a good day.

Daniel Olszewski, Tristan Dills, Ellie Berreth and Jenna Jensen all won their quarterfinal matches on Thursday in the Northern AA Divisional tennis tournament at Flathead Valley Community College to advance to today’s semifinal round.

Olszewski will face Miggy San Pedro of Great Falls High, Dills is up against Eric Abarr of Great Falls High, Berreth draws Abigail Davidson of Great Falls High and Jensen will meet Lucia Barbeito of C.M. Russell.

San Pedro and Davidson are the top singles seeds at the divisional.

The tournament winds up today with the top four finishers in singles and doubles advancing to the state tournament on May 14-15 in Helena.

Flathead did not have a doubles team move past the quarterfinal action.
