Bigfork girls qualify 5 players for state tennis tournament

BIGFORK — The Western B Divisional girls tennis tournament wrapped up early Saturday with the completion of four consolation matches in singles play.

Karlee Park defeated Abby Fraley 6-3, 7-5 in the battle for fifth and sixth place between two Bigfork players.

The top five singles finishers advance to state.

On Friday, Kalia Wicklund defeated teammate Lana Berg in the singles championship match.

Bigfork’s Brooke Bonner and Alauna Weilacher won the doubles title to qualify for state.

Bigfork will have five girls competing at the Class B state tournament May 14-16 in Great Falls.
