Polson, Libby post 4 wins at Laverne Combo
BUTTE — Polson wrapped up a successful weekend at the Laverne Combo softball tournament by posting two more victories on Saturday.
Polson belted 22 hits in a 20-0 victory over Sidney and registered 15 hits in a 10-3 triumph over Havre.
Polson scored 11 runs in the second inning against Sidney. The Pirates had 10 hits and 14 batters in that inning alone.
Kaelen Wall, 3 for 3, singled and homered in the second inning for Polson. Her home run came with two runners on. Hannah Potter, 3 for 4, also homered in the second inning with a runner on base. Skyla Krantz went 4 for 4 for the Pirates.
Polson scored in every inning but the first versus Havre.
Polson beat Billings Central 5-4 and Livingston 10-0 on Friday.

BUTTE — Libby ended its perfect weekend by topping Dillon 7-3 and slipping past Livingston 5-4.
Abbey Ennenga, 2 for 3, homered and had two RBIs in the win over Dillon. Staci Regh went 3 for 3 and tripled.
Regh and Devon Gallagher both had two hits in the outing with Livingston. Gallagher doubled and Dayln Germany homered in that outing.
Libby beat Lewistown 11-2 and Glendive 5-4 on Friday.

BUTTE — Columbia Falls banged out 36 hits and scored 28 runs on the final day to belt Hardin and Laurel at the Laverne Combo softball tournament.
Columbia Falls had 21 hits in a win over Hardin and 15 hits in a triumph over Laurel.
Lottie Ellis and Peyton Kehr had three hits each to lead the hit parade against Hardin. Kehr hit a home run and drove in two runs.
Ashley Trueblood and Alysha Cantu both had three hits in the Laurel contest. Madi Fetters homered for the Wildkats.
