Bigfork boys second at Class B-C state tennis
GREAT FALLS — The Bigfork boys claimed second place at the Class B-C state tennis tournament on Saturday.
The Vikings finished the three-day event with a 29-point total.
Missoula Loyola ran off with the title, amassing a score of 71.
Troy, 26 points, was third.
Chinook’s girls were the team champions with a 52-point total. Cut Bank, 28, was second and Baker, 24, third.
The finals were held in boys and girls singles on Saturday along with girls doubles.
The boys doubles finals were played on Friday.
Adam Jordt and Isaac Martel had the best showing for Bigfork, placing second in doubles. Teammates George Gibson and Ben Russell were third.
