LETTER: Are you satisfied with direction of the country?

Dear lovers of this great nation of ours that was established to give liberty and justice for all, are you satisfied with the direction it is going? It seems that one political party’s main goal is to establish a one-party government so that only members of that party can be elected.

They are accomplishing this by leaving our borders open, then giving all these people government handouts knowing they will vote for the party that gives these handouts. Surely they have not read much history because a one-party government usually end up as a dictatorship.

Are these police officers that are being shot down, are their families receiving justice? How many of these killers have been put to death? They are given death sentences and then allowed to live 30 or 40 years at taxpayers’ expense in prison or until their sentence is changed and maybe released.

Our Congress should get off their behinds and pass a law that all appeals, all motions, all reviews shall be finished and the convicted killer put to death within five years’ time. Any courts, judges, parole boards or governors that interfere with this law shall immediately lose their position.

My friends, if we don’t toughen our laws and elect people that love and appreciate this country in this next election, the next sound you might hear is the mournful and beautiful sound of “Taps” being played for the loss of our country.

May God have mercy on our country.
