Woman invites dispatchers to dinner
Parties on Baker Avenue were counseled by Whitefish Police after a woman reported that a man was drunk and had been in a violent rage all day. The woman gave the phone to the man who said that he just wanted to go to sleep. The woman then said that the man kicked her, and hung up. The dispatcher called back and found that no one had actually been kicked in the shin during the incident. The woman called back an hour later and asked the dispatchers to pray for her because the man was drinking again. The woman said she did not need an officer to respond at that time, but called back 45 minutes later, asking that medical staff come and check on the man. The woman then said that she thought an ambulance would scare the man. An ambulance cleared the man medically. The woman called back a short time later crying, saying that she could not drive and wondered if she should call a cab for the man.
