LETTER: Parable of the invasive species
I see that Montana Fish and Game is on the hunt for invasive walleyes in Swan Lake. Imagine being invaded by a non-native fish that will take over the native species!
But why should we be surprised about invasive fish when our entire country is being invaded by non-native human species that are even more destructive than fish! Can’t we all get along is the question? NO is the answer.
Fish, like humans, are accustomed to survival by nature’s implanting instincts for survival of the fittest! Look at human history. People have been killing each other from the very first family and are still fighting! America is supposed to be a country for all people to have equality. OK, so how do we account for people too lazy to take care of their families, get educated, police crime within their communities, admit mistakes and correct situations without blame, etc.?
The United States is a huge “fishery” of sorts and needs to be “cleansed” from time to time to save the desired species that get along with each other. People following religious beliefs that are destructive to others are unwelcome within our borders! Accept it for the good of our future and then work on all the lazy Americans that are devastating this country as well.
Maybe this is a poor analogy but I think even the less-informed readers will have to agree? As an added proof of the local invasion, look at how the valley has changed once it was also invaded by “non-natives” and how that has destroyed the real Montana! The shrimp problem destroyed the salmon thanks to do-gooders just like the country is being destroyed by the do-gooders who are using ILLEGAL bucket biology to bring unwanted immigrants here as well.
With lack of money to enforce and fund this current problem, perhaps the borders need to be locked down until this country figures out a cure. We cannot even balance our budget and have to borrow from others! Kind of like taking food from one pond to feed a species in another pond? Sooner or later both suffer and die off!
