LETTER: City Council needs to remember it serves the people

Is our City Council now a dictatorship? You only need to disagree to find out. There have been many times folks have gone to council meetings to voice their disapproval with the council and the mayor and never have their feelings or suggestions even acknowledged, let alone discussed.

It is very difficult to feel there is any reason to attend a council meeting, and now when taxpayers talk about using the last resort, a lawsuit, they are told they, well, have no further need to apply to serve on a committee. It is very difficult to get folks to run for council, let alone serve on a committee! 

You, the council, are elected by the people of Kalispell, and paid to do the the job for them. That job includes listening to the taxpaying public. Now, wake up. —Roxanne Brothers, Kalispell
