Stolen van reunited with owner
Whitefish Police returned stolen a carpet cleaning van to its owner after it was found partially blocked the drive through of a bank on East 2nd Street. The van had been reported stolen in Kalispell a day earlier.
Someone reported that a vehicle with Minnesota plates was in the long-term parking area of the train depot and had two windows smashed out. Officers ran the license plates, but could not get a positive identification on a possible owner.
A man turned in a red duffel bag full of clothes at the Columbia Falls Police Department. The bag was found in a parking lot of a dentist’s office.
A woman on Sixth Street West said her sister was threatening to smash her face in on Facebook and through text messages.
Someone stopped by the police department to pick up a bull horn.
Kalispell Police Department responded to a sexual assault near Hutton Ranch Road and West Reserve Drive.
A person snooping on a younger sister’s computer found some inappropriate messages that may have come from a child molester. Officers planned to meet with parents of the child the next day to investigate.
Someone burglarized a Hutton Ranch Road motor home and made off with $10,000 worth of camera equipment.
A woman left her car unlocked while she walked her dog at Herron Park and she found that her wallet had been stolen. Once she got home, she found that her house had be burglarized.
