Man wants to claim found cash
A man promised to bring $72 he found on the ground at Spokane Avenue to the Whitefish Police Department. He originally told officers that he wanted to keep the money if no one claimed it.

A man called 911 to ask if he would be charged with assault if he hit someone in the head with a baseball bat for stealing his riding lawnmower. Deputies responded and found that the man was just asking a hypothetical question.
