LETTER: Gun control laws won't prevent violent deaths

While I have the deepest sympathy for those families that lost loved ones by the recent shootings, I do not believe gun control is going to solve this problem.
There will always be some creeps out there, hell-bent on killing innocent people, and no kind of gun control will stop them. They will find other ways, far worse than a gun, to do the job. Look at how many people were killed and permanently maimed by the Boston Bomber, Timothy McVeigh, the Unabomber, and the 9/11 terrorists.
Guns can kill a few but bombs kill many, many more. —Ann Egerter, Bigfork
