The Montana Christian Athletics Association begins its 2015 state soccer and volleyball tournaments today at Stillwater Christian School.

The joint tournaments will begin this morning with Kalispell’s Flathead Valley Homeschool, the second seed in the West, opening the volleyball tournament at 10 a.m. against Heritage Christian of Bozeman, the East’s third seed. Top-seeded Stillwater Christian will begin its tournament at 2:30 p.m. against Great Falls Homeschool. Great Falls’ Foothills Christian is the top seed from the East and Billings’ Yellowstone Christian and Helena Christian also field teams.

Stillwater Christian’s boys are the top seed in the soccer tournament as well, opening the tournament at 10:30 a.m. against Yellowstone Christian on the North Field at SCS. The East’s top seed, Heritage Christian, will open simultaneously on the South field against Great Falls Homeschool. Helena Christian and Foothills will play at 12:30 p.m. in the other match. The losers of the opening match will play in a round-robin bracket this afternoon before advancing to the second round on Friday.

Each tournament is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, with the soccer championship game played at noon on the South Field and the volleyball final at 4 p.m.

Stillwater Christian has dominated the fall MCAA schedule for a generation, winning the last 12 state soccer titles and the last six state volleyball titles.
