Volleyball: Stillwater falls in semifinals of state tournament

Stillwater Christian School came up short in semifinal play Friday, losing to Foothills Christian School at the Montana Christian Athletic Association state volleyball tournament at Stillwater.

Foothills, from Great Falls, won 25-15, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Kya Hover led Foothills in kills (21), blocks (3) and digs (7).

Dorothy Smith and Helen Hashley had 10 kills each and a block apiece to pace Stillwater.

Stillwater faces Yellowstone County Homeschool at 10 a.m. today in loser-out play. The winner of that match moves on to the 2:30 p.m. championship game versus Foothills.
