Donald C. Vogel, 80

Don passed away at Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Friday, Oct. 23, with his wife by his side.

Don was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Edwin and Carrie Vogel.

Don met the love of his life, Pat, as students at the Ohio State University. They were married for 57 years. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting with many trips in their camper to the Canadian Rockies.

Don taught science for 25 years in the Shaker Heights School System in Ohio. After retirement, a “big move” was made to the Creston area in Montana.

Don was an active member of the Eastside Grange as well as a trustee of the Creston Fire Department.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia, sister-in-law, brother-in law, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Creston Fire Hall. Come prepared to share your memories and stories.

Per Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
