LETTER: Join Freedom March on 9/11

I am writing in regards to the up and coming 9/11 (Patriots Day) Freedom March. It’s at 1:30 p.m on Friday, Sept. 11. We all gather at the American Legion Post 137 at the corner of Fourth Avenue East North and Washington Street and walk to Depot Park at the memorial.

You can wear patriotic colors, carry a flag, anything to show your support that you are American (I carry my trusty peace sign!) Please show that you care and you will be fulfilled and proud.

Last but not least, thank you to the American Legion for faithfully carrying on this amazing tradition for 14 years for this wonderful honor. Especially for allowing the people to join in.
