Kalispell's Blair wins Two Bear Marathon
Runners from Kalispell finished in the top four spots for the women at the 11th annual Two Bear Marathon on Sunday near Whitefish.
Amanda Blair, 25, finished first in 3 hours, 33 minutes and 7.40 seconds.
Her mile pace was 8:08.
Blair also won this race last year with a time of 3:30:07.
Jody Bostock, 32, was second, 3:46:26.74.
Finishing third and fourth were Erica Oursland, 23, and Nikki Griffis, 32, in 4:09:14.58 and 4:10:05.44, respectively.
Twenty five women completed the race.
On the men’s side, Austin Allen, 34, of Moiese finished first in 3:13:33.46. His mile pace was 7:23.
Ben Coyle, 41, of Orange, California, was second, 3:15:31.29.
Forty-three men posted times. Fifteen runners finished under four hours.
Half-marathon winners were Emily Rask, 27, of Helena in 1:40:18.06, and Mike Hahn, 41, of Whitefish in 1:34:28.54.
There were 139 women in the half marathon and 57 men.
