Charles Michael Pyles, 53

| September 23, 2015 6:00 AM

Charles Michael Pyles, 53, “gained his angel wings” unexpectedly on Sept. 20, 2015.

Michael, “Mike” or, to his sisters, “Mikey,” was born to Charles Lee and Patricia Ann Pyles on April 6, 1962.

Mike loved to fish, hunt and was an excellent mechanic. Ever since he was a young boy, Mike could be found taking things apart and putting them back together. He loved sports and played baseball in his younger years. On Sundays you could find Mike watching pro football.

Michael was preceded in death by both his maternal and fraternal grandparents, his mother Patricia Ann, and father Charles Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his sister, Charla; sister, Darla, and husband, Dario, of Columbia Falls; brother, Todd, of Lewiston; and brother, Terry, of Kalispell; his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; his uncle, aunt, and numerous cousins and people he called friends, including his lifelong friend, Gigi Boushie.

Michael will be missed — his sense of humor, his laughter and his caring ways.

“You may be gone, but you will always be in our hearts Mikey. We know you are now with momma and daddy, and we will see you again.”

There will be a viewing for Mike from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Columbia Mortuary with a vigil service starting at 7 p.m. Funeral services for Mike will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at Columbia Mortuary. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.

There will be a potluck celebration at his sister Charla’s home at 1058 Horseman Way, Columbia Falls starting at 5 p.m.

Columbia Mortuary is caring for Mike’s family.
