| September 27, 2015 6:00 AM

Wayne George Sherwood, 62, “joined our heavenly Father” on Sept. 9, 2015, in Kalispell.

He was born Jan. 23, 1953, in Kirkland, Washington. He moved to Bellingham, Washington, in 1967 and went to Meridian High School. Wayne ran a successful business building commercial aluminum fishing boats for Bristol Bay, Alaska, and San Francisco from 1977 to 1990, then went on to building outdrives and engines from 1990 to 2014. In 2004, he moved to his present home in Kalispell where he entertained the valley with his karaoke business.

Wayne loved the beautiful lakes and mountains, taking his jet skis out to play on sunny days. He was always tinkering on a new project or entertaining people singing karaoke. He always had a story to share with his numerous friends and family. He cherished everyone he met in his journey through life.

Wayne will be most remembered for his love for everyone. We all have been blessed by his loving bear hugs. Wayne will be truly missed and remain in our hearts and prayers forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Patricia Sherwood.

He is survived by his sister, Elaine, and Larry Ebner; brother, Keith Sherwood; his oldest daughter, Kristina Sherwood and Jeremy Kinn; son, Philip Sherwood and Nicole Mast, grandchildren, Ladahlia and Millie; and youngest daughter, Lindsey, and Bryan Luchi, grandchildren Trinity, Livia and Ella; also several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life potluck at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Eastside Grange in Creston.
