LIBBY — Thompson Falls won the final two sets to knock off Libby 25-14, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16 in Class 7B volleyball action on Tuesday.

The Loggers (4-5, 2-2) and Blue Hawks went point-for-point through the middle of the match before the hosts faltered down the stretch.

“It was quite the battle in the second and third sets,” Libby head coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said.

“And then we made a lot of mistakes in the last set and they kept playing steady. They’re a good team.”

The Blue Hawks were led by Madison Wheeler (10 kills) and Haley Wilson (15 assists, eight digs).
