The sports staff at the Daily Inter Lake has chosen 12 finalists for our first Athlete of the Year award and we humbly present them to you today, our choices for the athletes who had the most outstanding performances across our sports landscape in 2015-16.
Now we want to hear from you — on what we got right, what we got wrong and which two stars (one boy and one girl) should be named the Athlete of the Year when the winners are unveiled later this month.
