The 38th annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts is Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7, in downtown Bigfork.

The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. The event features more than 150 art and craft vendor booths, as well as food, drinks and live music. All downtown merchants will be open for business as well.

Access to downtown Bigfork will be closed during festival hours, but parking and shuttle buses are available behind the Bethany Lutheran Church on Montana 35 and the Potoczny Baseball Field, east of the Post Office. Shuttles will begin running both days at 9 a.m.

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce has hummingbird flags available with the festival logo for $20. The festival itself is free, open to the public and appropriate for all ages.

According to the chamber’s website, “the Bigfork Festival of the Arts is one of the oldest art festivals in Montana. The established traditions of quality and hospitality make it one of the most popular festivals in the Northwest.”
