If it’s cool and it’s on wheels, it’s likely to be in Evergreen on Saturday.

The annual Evergreen Show & Shine runs all day Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., in the parking lot of Conlin’s Furniture on Montana 35.

Visitors to the event, which has grown each year, will be able to view around 300 vehicles — cars, motorcycles, off-road vehicles and golf carts.

It’s always a fun time for fans of hot cars, classic rigs and all sorts of other vehicular attractions.

The Evergreen Show & Shine is free for spectators or entrants (and people can register their vehicles the day of the show).

More than 30 categories will be judged, with trophies and prizes to the top entrants.

If you go, spectator parking is available east of Conlin’s in the grassy area or at Able Body Shop.

This is one of the biggest events of the year in Evergreen and is sure to be a highlight of this weekend.

Meanwhile, if water is more your thing, then you will want to check out the 11th Annual Big Sky Antique & Classic Boat Show this weekend.

This year, the show is being hosted at the Marina Cay Resort harbor and will feature more than 25 mahogany boats in the water, along with additional boats on trailers.

These old beauties are a marvel of craftsmanship and demonstrate a high quality of design and engineering that is fun for young and old alike.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Once you are in Bigfork, you are encouraged to continue down to the village for the 38th annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts.

Remember though, all parking access to downtown Bigfork will be closed during festival hours, with parking and shuttle buses available behind the Bethany Lutheran Church on Montana 35 andf the Potoczny Baseball Field east of the post office.

Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. You will enjoy a large selection of fine art, crafts, food, music and the great festival atmosphere. More than 150 booths will participate.
