Police respond to alleged gun threat

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office looked for a vehicle whose occupants allegedly drove through a private field in Somers and pointed a gun at family who lived there. The caller said the alleged trespassers “pulled a gun on [her] husband and cocked it when he confronted them.”

Deputies assisted a group of five teenage rafters who were stranded after getting out on the wrong side of the river in Coram.

A Hungry Horse resident told deputies an 18-year-old woman wandered up to her house stating she was allegedly on acid and confused.

Officers provided extra patrol after a Kalispell resident on Stoneridge Drive reported a car being hit with eggs and diapers. The resident said no other cars in the neighborhood had been hit.


Whitefish Police arrested a man with an alleged history in burglary for having a fake license plate and no car insurance.

Police observed a home on West Second Street that was possibly broken into. The owner said a window screen had been removed and the window had been opened.
