Roger Wehr Minnich, 83

With love, we said goodbye on Aug. 1, 2016, to Roger Wehr Minnich.

He was born in 1932 to William and Anna Minnich.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, and a brother Reynold, also an adoptive daughter, Cindy Pederson.

He is survived by his family back East, including his 95-year-old sister, Feral Bowman, his niece Eilene and husband Jerry Myers and their family; his niece Doris and husband Charlie Kemp and their family, and other nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his adoptive family, including his partner in life, Charlotte Pederson, son Paul, and daughters Lisa and Bonnie; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by many friends.

Roger was a friendly, outgoing person who loved to give people a hard time, and talking about politics.

He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed sports and reading war books and newspapers.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
