Janet Marie Marvin Noble, 71

| August 17, 2016 6:00 AM

My beautiful wife Janet’s journey here on Earth ended on July 21, 2016, so she could start a new and wonderful journey. Janet fought long and hard and never gave up. She never complained, she never asked, “Why me?” and she always said somebody had it worse than she did. That’s the kind of person Janet was. Janet was so strong, courageous and loving. Janet was very special.

Janet worked at the Red Lion and Gold Dust West Casinos, as well as Barrick Gold Mine in Elko, Nevada.

Janet was born on April 21, 1945, in Somers.

She leaves behind three children, Linda Shaw of Montana, Bobbi Jean Mack of Nevada and Wesley Mack Nevada. Janet is also survived by her brother, Gilford “Buddy” Marvin of Montana; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and by her beloved husband Robert Noble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilford and Edith Marvin; her sister, Wanda Marvin; her daughter, Heidi Mack; and husband, Robert Mack.

Janet requested that no service be held at this time, as we will celebrate her life at a later time.
