LETTER: Hunter's hurtful attitude toward elderly couple found despicable

To the “manly hunter” that was camped in the Little Belt Mountains over the Thanksgiving weekend: Do you wonder why the 80-plus-year-old couple was camped next to your trailer? Because you parked in one of the only places that would afford them easy access. 

You were in a parking lot! However I suppose it was easy to swear and disrespect the older couple to the point that they felt compelled to leave in the middle of the night. Yes, it probably was the last year of hunting for a man that has spent over 60 years in those mountains teaching others hunting and life skills, including courtesy. 

Your plates were from Kalispell, but maybe you’re an import. Either way, stay home next time. You’re a jerk. —Mark Nash, Great Falls
