Bloody deer cause of mess, not crime

Whitefish Police Department informed a man that a deer, not a person, had been injured after he found a suspicious combination of animal tracks, human footprints and a puddle of blood. Police were called to handle the injured animal.

A woman was told to fill out a mail forwarding card again after her family sent a package to an old address. The woman was able to get the package back, but it looked like the package had been resealed. Between $70 and $120 was missing from cards, the woman reported.
